this old car thing we found walking to sabana larga. kinda cool looking though it doesnt have the whole car, didnt have time to take an other some guy stopped by us and asked if we watned a ride to sabana larga so we hoped in the back.. do what you got to do ;) Our famous productive district meetings. The salvadorian ,dominican ,gringo, "mexican" chileon, "german" never thought id be living with a chileon, salvadorian and domican at the same time.

Water fall!! Me trying to look gangster didnt work out, glasses throw it off. but i never did look gangster any way but still fun to mess. haha This is a colmado, it has whatever you want or need its like a mini walmart without clothes. Those two guys are vacanos! there my best buds. the ones hold chicken, the black bag is full of chicken also. we not supposed to by meat from colmados. cuz like you see they just pull it out throw it on the counter and chop it wit hthere macheti. pull out all the inerds too.. its fun stuff momzi!!

Did they send out save the date invitations? Because the other day I met this testigo de jehova and we got to talking and she’s going to Colorado springs for her cousins wedding who’s getting married. It sounded like the same day as josie’s and orchid’s. What’s orchids real name? She said in the picture the girl wasn’t a red head. Did josie dye her hair? For a while when we were comparing details it got super like woah, no way I think you’re going to my sister’s wedding. But in the end I think we determined it wasn’t the same. I hope everything goes super super smooth with the wedding.

So do you want just a head shot for that body cut out then glue the head on to a cut out of a other man? If you want you can glue my face on to a john cena body or arnold shortz-a nay-ger one.. I’d be down with that. If you want that, I can send you the head shot right now. But I´ve been a little busy lately so I haven’t been able to take a full body yet. You want a long sleeve for that if so? So play week huh? Y’all going? Oh that sounds super cool using dead trees I hope that works out. Man this sounds like it should be a legit wedding what day is it again? I want to know if that testigo is going to be meeting y’all cus then maybe i can something state side with her;)

I dont know why people say the testigos are mean every one I’ve met has been really nice to me, though I’ve only met like two both were super cool. Though another religion I’m not say there name to be nice but man there missionaries are well as one movie says "dirty trash cans full of poop" man they are not nice in the least bit. If they see you and you try to be nice and say hi, theny just blow you off. If you actually talk to them they start telling you that you’re going to a very bad place if you don’t change. I probably shouldn’t say that about them but those are facts and at least I didn’t say what church they are but man they´re not nice. All the other missionaries I’ve met from other churches though are all really nice.

So guess what I’m finally leaving my first area! Though I reallly don’t want to leave here, its amazing here. And we have one investigator that is really progressing super super well, yomira! shes amazing. She always reads and always has great questions. The problem is she lives in sabana larga. and thats about 10 mins in a guagua to get there. or 10 mins hitchhiking. But I’m getting transferred to Don gregorio, it’s in the same Zone. They say I’ve gotten the bani curse. Where if you get "born" in bani Zone that you get stuck there. Theres one missionary I know who’s been in the same zone for over a year and he’s still in this zone this transfer. Elder Burge also got put back in bani zone. I’m actually taking his spot in don gregorio, he says they haven’t had power or water for a week. So that should be Awesome. I hear the actual area is Awesome you’re right by the beach and the people are progressing and everyone is super nice.

I hear you can also contact the whole area in a transfer. So it’s super, super small. I’ve been contacting in Ocoa for 3 transfers now and still haven’t even gotten close to contacting the same door twice. I’m super pumped to go I leave tomorrow morning. It’s a two man house and my new companion is Elder gusman. So now I will be forced to speak spanish 24/ 7 this last transfer I at least had aguero to talk to, but now I’m on my own. It’ll be weird going from a 6 man house to just 2. With just one person to talk to. I hear he only has 2 transfers left. So I’m going to be sending him off to his house most likely, is what a few people told me. So either he will be a super hard work determined to finish strong or be a slacking dog saying I’m going home in a little anyway. vamos a ver. this is my face shot for that thing if you want to try it that way, This is an Ostrich!!! super cool although takes forever to load this pic.. hmm :) so this picture is... well i dont remeber its still loading but im guessing... its me and the map of dominican republic... yea... im show modeling it. its a pretty legit acurate as well. right now im in ocoa next on that map ill be in the bani area bottom right corner. right on the edge. next picture is.....me and a legit family and friends. its megalina, indiana, yaliza, me, milagro, megalin. oh and baby kayla. Kayla is the daughter of megalina. Indiana ( cooks a mazing spaghetti and wont admit that she speaks english but does) and yaliza (secreta, super cool always helps with chairs... well i gues it'd be me helping with the chairs but she's super cool)are friends are the family. Milagro (vacano, has her own hair salon always super nice)and megalin (speaks a bit of english is going stae side tomorrow maimi and las vegas for work) are married and the parents of megalina ( calls me her child, because im "super nice" she also said that "if anyone ever messed with me shed mess them up" haha shes a pretty fun person haha) . They are all members. They´re amazing. About sister porters spaghetti - yea i didn’t really like the veggies but man I loved the sauce. It was awesome, but now I’d probably just chow those veggies on up. So what’s the proportion of peppers and mayonnaise? Luckly that’s it because that’s about all they have here and I’m down for a little variety. As good as rice and beans is though. As for that picture you want. I’m trying it’s going to be a bit difficult. We´ve been going to this different internet center. Where yea... it’s different so maybe I can work it out, but I got a few legit photos for you as soon as I get the chance to send them. Oh and I should be getting that recipe soon for the spaghetti and you’ll love it.

So it continues to amaze me just how much we affect people’s lives every single day, Weither it’s something as big as baptism and helping them get on the right course to live with Heavenly Father again, or something as simple as just wearing eyeglasses. We were teaching this one lady a few days back and she had a few questions about how god answers prayers and stuff and earlier she was talking about she always has a headache and couldn’t see very well. We asked if she went to the doctor and turns out he gave her glasses but she didn’t wear them so we related this a little bit. That just like with a doctor we can go to him as many times as we want asking for help or asking what to do to get better but until we start doing what they say to do they can’t exactly help us even if we don’t want to do it, but it’s what we need to do and may make us look silly. I said look I’m wearing my glasses and yea maybe i look a lil silly, but i can see . So right then she’s like right’o in few words and went and got her glasses and yea same with god we have to be obedient to his commandments and all that, for him to truly help us a ton yea. haha Later we saw her in the streets a couple days later and she thanked us and told us how her headaches went away and she could she a ton more stuff and yea.. kind of cool to see how we affect people’s lives even if it’s something as simple as wearing glasses.

So the other day a random breeze came out of no where, you could hear doors slamming all down the street and it broke one of our window panels it was woah! so we ran outside to look and down the street was a lil dirt devil and it quickly went away but after a lil while it came back left then woah! It got super huge and super, super tall, tall. Tall as high as you could see and was super, super thick and dense. I think at that point it could no long be classified as a dust devil but yea a full on tornado. It was HUGE but it stayed for about 20 seconds then left. and yea that was the end of that but when it first showed wow it was pretty cool didn’t think to go and get my camera.
But yea..So we got the opportunity to go and watch conference!!!! It was AWESOME!!! I loved it more then I thought it would and I think this is the first conference in years I’ve stayed awake for the whole thing and was intently listening. but yea it was legit got a ton of good stuff out of it. I can’t wait for the magazine to read em more.
It was even cooler to see my recent converts there. Well at least for the first two session.
None of the investigators went. It’s been super hard trying to find someone who wants to progress lately. Oh but Manuel a man we were teaching for a while but he fired us once and we couldn’t get a hold of him for a while after that. We ran into him in the street and he’s just like hermansos! que pasa why haven’t y’all passed my house eh? We told him we tried a lot but he’s like ohh forgive me hermanos I want to follow god and I think what y’alls teaching me is what’s right.Forgive me and come by my house. The man is in it. He always asked super good questions and was super super interested in it. He’s always inviting his family in to listen. He even scheduled the next appointment so his nephew would be there at that time. After he gave us a couple hugs and went his way. haha The man’s a stud, for lack of a better word. vacano?

So we went to the caves again this week. It was awesome! We went to the back caverns this time. My last chance to go and well it was defiantly worth it though every time i go I get cut up. First time was on barb wire on my wrist. This time I jumped over the river and to what I thought was a stone by a tree. So I went to stop myself with it, cause I lost my balance and it turned out the stone was part of the tree and most trees here have spikes covering them all. So I lost my balance went to stop myself with my one hand was like dahh! So without thinking I went to push off it hard, with my other hand. The whole time Iwas thinking it was a stone and I was thinking what the world kind of stone is this this is ow! But I was still trying to gain my balance while trying to push off this devil tree. I’m sure it looked comical, but man after my hands were nice and bloody. Just a few good cuts on my middle finger thumb and other fingers. It looked way worse after then it was. Someday that devil tree will get his, one day when its super dry out there and forest fire comes..

haha but yea oh 6 months this week!!! woot woot 1/4 done with my mission. It went super fast... not sure how i feel about being 1/4 done. Because that went super fast I can’t tell if it was too fast or a good pace... can’t tell because Ilove it out here.
Guess we’ll find out soon enough because i hear it goes even faster once you leave youre first area and transfers are this Sunday. I’m pretty sure I’m leaving gran ol Ocoa. I kinda want another transfer here, but at the same time I want to move out of the house its getting a bit ... tempers are getting high? I dont know how to say it but a few people are starting to like to fight a lot. They just don’t fit well with each other.. but I love the area and the members. but I’ ll go where you want me to go dear lord. That’s a song just so y’all know. oh so this eh stuff just randomly comes out... Ithink i told you last week but were were on the bus and we were told um there but some other lady got off so he went again and i fell into my seat and just shout hey, adonde puede eh? super random when the eh comes out but there it is. but yea on the same day i get 6 months jordan gets 16 years!!!!!! wooh happy b-day to her.

Did you all get my package yet? There should be two because they had to split the one i sent because if its 4 pounds or under its 300 pesos to send if its over then its 1300 to send mine was 200grams over so them split it up and sent to packages you get em yet?
I Don’t know what i was going to say i had "i dont kn" written but my comp talked to me for a second and i forgot what i was going to say..... must not have been important... anyway love yall choose the right and enjoy what you got because you got it good

Hola!
Well life here is pretty great! Slow but great, when you have no
real progressing investigators it goes a lot slower, but it’s still
surprisingly speeding by super quick. Which I rather it do that after
Ocoa. I love Ocoa. I don’t want to leave here yet. Its super beautiful,
nice breeze always, the people are super, super nice, especially most
of the members.
Like Maria, she loves when we go to her house. She’s always telling me
how its my house too and I can do whatever I want in it. If I ask if I could have a little water she’s like “Zelasko, you know this is your house you can have whatever.” haha she’s super nice. Lately her husband has taken a liking to us too. He talks to
us all the time. Another great member is Erick and Chiquita,
Maria’s son and daughter in law. Both my "pana full de long time"

Oh and a super great member, hma doni, she’s awesome she’s basically like our mom out here, she makes our lunch every day and whenever were sick, she just like whips
out some kinda remedy and fixes you, like wacha! Like last night, I had
a huge fever and cough and like a stabbing pain in my stomach but
she was like hey, wacha! And today I feel way better. She’s our next door
neighbor, so its pretty convenient and she’s super nice and awesome.
We are moving houses and she seems pretty sad about that. Missionaries have lived next to her for... almost 20 years i think. We will be moving in 2 weeks to another members house because they’re moving to the capital and their house is way bigger then ours and has two restrooms! That’s going to be super awesome for 6 missionaries. So were
moving over there. Right before transfers so the last pday we’ll be
moving houses and cleaning the old one up a ton. Then I think I’ll be
transferred at transfers. So I’ll have to live out of my bag for a
couple days.
Elder Aguero got sick this week too... and for some reason
everytime someone gets sick I’ve been the one too stay home with them.
I dont even ask to. So for the past 3 weeks I’ve basically had two pdays a
Week. One helping a sick person, then other running to Bani and back
and the internet. Aguero is all better now for the most part.

Oh speaking of Bani. I got my package!!! Wowza! That’s a ton of
candy!! Thanks a TON for it! Though those pants don’t look like cheap
goodwill pants that I asked for... they look wowza, feel wowza too. Did
you at least pay for with my money? Thanks a ton for that package. I
love it all hope you didn’t spend too much money especially with moving
and all right now...

Hey did you ever get that recipe from sis porter? Oh so this one area we’re contacting right now to get from one place to the next. They’re right by each other but ones up a
hill and too get up to it you have to go up 97 steps... I’m gonna have
super beast calves when I leave Ocoa because right on the other side of
this area is an other area right back down the hill. The two down the
hill are right by each other but you can’t get to it that way because
they have a huge canyon in the middle of them. It’s super deep
so you can’t go that way.

Nothing really happened this week besides getting sick and getting a package... oh i got this bag of cereal I ordered from price mart forever ago. This bag is HUGE its something
like 5 pounds... all of corn flakes. I don’t know where to stick it, but its cheaper then buying a bunch of small boxes.

Yea... no one is progressing right now..... kind of sad, but life well find those
people that are ready soon enough.

or as they say here chalako, theres a rapper here named chalako so a
lot of people when i say my name say chalako, and in a lot of his
songs he says "ayye ohh" right after saying his name.... i may or may
not have picked up on that;)
