Below is a picture from the baptizim I talked about in my last letter. This is in order, Me, Tyson, Gregorio, Welington, Daneri and my Comp.

Below is Elder Aguero y I with the spaghetti for Elder Reyes birthday party thing. Seriously the best spaghetti in all the world! The whole world, not just this lil world I'm in but the whole world. :)

Below is a pic of us being Domincan, they seriously stuf the most people they can on a bike. The most I've seen was 5 people or 6 is some were kids but stil wow. The bigest thing I've seen them drive is a queen or king size matress bottom. They put wood on the bike and the frame on the wood. One guy driving with one arm help stablizing that and one guy in the back arms spread as far as he could trtingh to hold that thing up it was wow! I didnt have my camera or I would've taken a picture.


Hey, Hey, Hey

Did you ever ask Sis Porter for the recipe of the orange sauce
spaghetti stuff? Sorry my computer is the one again that doesn’t allow
doubles so either I have to type super slow and do this weird sequence
that will let me type normal or type normal but I figure ya'll get the
message right. Thank you mom for fixing my letters so people don’t have to read things like this.

I’m so pumped that Josie is getting married!!!!! Ah so cool wish I could
go! Also, an amazing family reunion I’m missing! Wowza! Apparently a lot
of people make life size cut out things for weddings and stuff when the
missionary is in on a mission. It always looks funny in the pics because
when you look in the back, you usually see them standing in the back just
standing there with a smile. Ha, ha super funny.

So you know what makes you feel like a real man? Bucket showers, Ha, ha
dang they are cold. And I get super cold super easy when it comes to
water you can ask anyone I've ever swam with. 10 seconds in the pool
and I’m shivering like a lil’ poodle in a freezer. Makes ya feel
like a man. Get done working out then take your bucket to the tub and
have at it ha-ha! The water went out for 4 days and wow, I’m
glad we have some loving members around us. We didn’t fill any of the
water reservoir things we have just a bunch of buckets but still. We’re luckily
Hermana Doni gave us a lot and the landlord and a few others. Super
thankful for them.

Which reminds me, the thing I look forward to most when I go state side is having a real washer and a drier! Not just the
sun. But a washer where you just put it in and walk away for 30 mins
or something. It will be nice to not have the power cut out on you. Because when it does, you have to hand
wash em. That’s the first thing ill do when I get home. Laundry, because
I can walk away and do what I really want to do ! Ha, ha it’ll be the
best!

I think I’m going to miss fire stoves though. Those things are legit.
However, I still have plenty of time to enjoy those. I can learn to master it a
bit more.

So apparently I look like a little kid or my face does or something. Because
Hermana Milagro and her daughter were talking, oh her daughter came
from the states! She’s super legit, it’s fun to talk with someone else in
English Add one more person to the circle of people I can
talk too, not just aguero adn carruth. Anyway, she said that her
and Milagro were talking and Milagro said I’m like her little toddler. I’m just
super nice and innocent. Megaline said there’s just something bout my face
that makes her just want to give me something or help me
with whatever. And that I just look innocent, like a little kid who needs
help. I really don’t know how to takes that at all. Ha-ha she says its a
good thing because I’m always super nice and polite. But still
she just phrased it weird and kept saying I’m like a kid, just innocent
looking. Don’t know how I feel about that. Ha, ha but yea

Work has been super tough we haven’t found anyone new to teach! Everyone
is firing us! and we can’t find a place to work, we were working in sabana
larga but it’s too expensive to go over there everyday. We are
considering just catching a few rides over there. We basically walk
half way there to find the spot to bowla. On the way
back it’s easy because it’s a ton of people waiting like in the movie Dick and
Jane. When Dick is waiting for a job with a bunch of people and a
truck rolls up and says only one, but everyone runs for it. Ha-ha super
fun.
But yea, we can’t find a spot to work that’s comparable with that. So we’re
working in Pueblo Abajo for now. It’s fun.
Good luck with moving I’m super pumped for you guys! sorry my trunk is
super heavy! Its got a few rocks in there;)

Hey, hey, hey,

Sorry I can’t send a picture of the baptism, but it was
AWESOME!! All four were baptized and they had me do it. They were
awesome. When we were all changing getting ready, they were all super pumped and super excited. They all wanted to be the first one to be baptized
and asking to give there testimony after. Bunch of vacanos.. their
seriously, they best.

Oh also I visited Manuel for the first time in a couple weeks, it was just like seeing an old bud, old family member or brother you haven’t seen in a while. it was awesome. It was actually a bit weird how happy I was to see him When I asked him how his
reading was going he showed me his book and he’s like in Alma,
already!!!!! Ha, ha Oh man I love him he’s awesome. Ha-ha so every time
we saw each other in the past for like 2 transfers in a row he’d want
to do a pull up contest after to see if he could beat me. So after, he
didn’t even have to say anything he just did a head gesture to the door
and yea it was on. Ha, ha but yea usually I do the pull ups on the one
side of the door but I decide to do it on the other side and I didn’t
realize there was a big corner sticking out so I just start poppin’ em
out back at the 3rd one Ha, ha just bam right into the corner. Ha, ha we
laughed a bit ( a tear may have been shed from hitting;) then he
dominated me in the contest. Ha-ha but yea it was awesome seeing
him again. I hope it’s like that whenever I see the 4 if I ever get
stationed here again. Oh so my comp and me opened up sabana larga.
it’s about a 10 min guagua ride from ocoa and it is Jehovah witness (jw) to the
max they have a jw on ever single corner and a
chapel or two or there everywhere. We figure all it takes is two
missionaries with some authority on there side to bring it down. Ha-ha.
it really is kind of like a war going on out here, still It’s been going on since
the big ole war happened a while back. Now as Josh-Scott Creamer says we’re
god’s elite warriors out here fighting the good fight. Ironically
were not allowed to bible bash or any of that. Cause of course that
gets yea nowhere.

Now were working in parra, barra y sabanna larga. The three
farthest spots from the pueblo..... some one gave us a reference to
parra now we have to start hiking all the way back up that mountain
again... we should have some beast calves after it ;)

I tried a different style of chicharon again this time it was
actually pretty good and it looked like some stuff they sell state
side. Interesting... oh I also tried agucate.. um... avocado? turns
out its just green mush with out any real flavor. I was afraid for
nothing... ha

Other then that nothing new... I don’t think... but yea love
Ya’ll. Oh, I sent the package... open it carefully. Love ya
Oh, I sent it to Scott and Nichole's hope they do not mind.

OK so this week was pretty good. It was basically a normal week, my
new comp his name is Elder Astacio. He’s a full blood Dominican from San
Padre? Yes he only speaks spanish. Aye, aye, aye its fun talking in
the streets. He’s a super chill guy, haha he’s actually super
cool about it. He wants me to teach him English, which could work to my
advantage as we go;) It’s actually helping my Spanish a TON! A
ton! The biggest news is that this Saturday, Gregorio, Daneri,
Tyson, and Wellington are getting BAPTIZED!!! WOOOT!!! Im so pumped
for them!

Sorry but, I’m super tired for some reason and dont really
feel like writing a ton right now. Ha-ha I’m just sitting in this lil box
with a comp and well, the chair is super comfortable and if it weren’t
for the heat I think I’d just sleep here instead of writing. Ha-ha but
yea that’s really all that’s cool. I got a new comp and my star
investigators are taking the next step! woo!

This will maybe be a paragraph, I feel bad leaving it at that... um
Oh…my comp made me eat chicharon or fried pigskin with the fat stuff
still on it... the pig skin on Guam looked a TON more appealing then
this stuff. It looked crispy and good on guam, here however, hmm…
Yes, I ate it. the skin was like leather, super hard to chew and the
fat was just, super fatty (imagine that eh ) and yes, I had to gag it
down. haha It was nastiest thing ever. Not because of what it was but it
just tasted nasty. Later. he said will try mundungo? (I think that’s what it’s called) It’s cow intestent but, you have to be carefull who
you get that from. Because if its not done right, it’ll still have some
feces in there. That would not be cool! haha.

So, I just realized there’s a web cam on my computer. I haven’t seen one of
those in forever. I’m pretty sure the cord leads to somewhere
else, not the computer. Kinda freaked me out. haha So yea, now its facing the wall
turns out it was hooked to my comp but yea... haha still was creepy.

I think talking in spanish all day just drains my energy, wow. Last
night I think as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.

Sundays are the worst day of the week. I feel bad saying that but, wow! They
are seriously the hardest day of the week. You wake up a little
earlier, then leave, go hunt down you’re investigators, then run to church
quickly try and find any others that showed up. Then all the
youth are trying to talk to you, which I really don’t mind because
they’re all AWEOMSE. But the church is about 80% youth so there’s lots of
kids trying to talk to you and at the same time you’re trying to talk
to the older people to see if they can meet with you through out the
week. At the same time members try to give you bouches about doing
something wrong and how we should do things there way, when we’re actually
doing what were supposed to do. Then you have the members that blow
everything out of proportion and give you bouches for that or for
things that you don’t really control. hahah The first thing my comp
said during sacrament meeting to me is, apastcia! haha Church here is
basically an, apostasy at times. Slowly its getting better and more
organized but its still fairly new. So they’re trying
to work out all the kinks but still it makes you miss real church. Na,
church here is actually super cool, except for all those other things. The
people are Awesome! They’re super nice members that are basically
like your family here. You get to see them twice or so a week. I love the
members here and when you get to see your investigators in church it just
makes you happy. Especially, when I see Megalina’s huge ole´ smile and
she greats me or Gangsta Tyson rolling in with his smug smile but,
behind it you can see he’s as nervous as anything being there.
hahah He tries to hide behind his little hat, then there’s lil O’niel running up
to yea shouting Zela-ko!! I really shouldn’t complain the people
here are awesome... don’t know what I’d do without em right now. I love em
all. I just gotta quit complaining and get up and work. Speaking of which
